- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cooking until sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return shrimp to skillet, toss to coat in the sauce, and cook for another minute.
- Season with salt and pepper, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to add a splash of white wine or lemon juice for extra flavor.
- Serve over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.
