- 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
- Add cooked chicken and pasta to the sauce, toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or lemon zest.
