- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger; sauté until fragrant and softened.
- Add chicken chunks, season with salt, pepper, garam masala, paprika, and turmeric; cook until chicken is browned.
- Pour in tomato sauce; simmer for 10 minutes to let flavors meld. <li id="instruction-step-5" Stir in heavy cream and remaining butter; cook for another 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot over rice or with naan.
Notes
- Adjust spice levels to taste for less heat or more flavor.
- You can substitute chicken with tofu for a vegetarian version.
