- 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 4 oz Boursin cheese (garlic and herbs flavor)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shredded chicken to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Lower the heat and stir in the Boursin cheese and heavy cream. Cook until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped herbs and serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute cooked turkey or roasted vegetables for a different twist.
- For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese instead of heavy cream.
