Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 16 oz gnocchi
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in gnocchi and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream and cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Top with crispy bacon and herbs before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, use turkey bacon or reduce the cheese amount. For extra flavor, add a dash of smoked paprika or chopped jalapenos.
