Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until combined.
- Divide dough in half. Roll each into a 12-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread cinnamon sugar evenly over the dough rectangles.
- Roll each rectangle tightly from the short end to form logs.
- Slice into 1-inch thick cookies and place on prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
- While baking, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm cookies before serving.
