- 1 loaf of French bread
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F (190C). Slice the bread loaf horizontally, without cutting all the way through, creating a pocket.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan and add minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Brush generously inside and outside of the bread.
- Stuff the cheese evenly between the slices and sprinkle Parmesan on top.
- Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add cooked bacon or sautéed mushrooms inside the bread.
- Serve with marinara or ranch dipping sauces for extra taste.
