Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Optional: hot sauce or ranch dressing for extra flavor
Instructions
- Start by slicing the chicken breasts into thin strips or tender pieces. Season them generously with salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried oregano. This ensures each bite is bursting with flavor.
- Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the seasoned chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent burning and to incorporate the garlic flavor into the chicken.
- Warm the tortillas slightly to make them more pliable. Spread an even layer of cooked chicken on each tortilla. Sprinkle generously with shredded mozzarella cheese. For an extra gooey experience, add more cheese to your liking.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla towards the center and roll tightly to form a wrap. You can toast these wraps in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or bake them in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Use freshly grated cheese for the best meltability.
- If you prefer a crispy exterior, pan-fry the wraps for a couple of minutes on each side.
- Add some diced bell peppers or onions inside for extra crunch and flavor.
- For an extra spicy kick, include sliced jalapeños or hot sauce.
