Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef or thinly sliced steak

- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk or cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt butter and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.

- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
- You can substitute ground beef with sliced sirloin for a more authentic cheesesteak flavor.
- Add a dash of hot sauce for spicy variation.
