  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add cold butter and cut in with a pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Mix in vanilla and milk until dough forms.
  4. Roll out dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  5. Cut into rectangular shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Meanwhile, prepare glaze by mixing brown sugar and milk until smooth.
  8. Once cookies are cooled, spread glaze over the top and add sprinkles if desired.
