- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- Ice cubes
- Blackberries and mint for garnish
Instructions
- Muddle the blackberries in a cocktail shaker until well mashed.
- Add tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice cubes to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously until chilled.
- Strain into a glass rimmed with salt or sugar, over fresh ice.
- Garnish with whole blackberries and a sprig of mint.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of simple syrup. For an extra touch, rim the glass with sugar or salt.
