- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of water
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 2 large eggs
- Extra cinnamon sugar for coating
- Cooking spray or parchment paper
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in flour until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Transfer the dough to a mixing bowl. Beat in eggs one at a time until batter is smooth and glossy.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray. Fill a piping bag fitted with a large star tip with the dough.
- Pipe bite-sized churro shapes onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
- While warm, toss the baked churros in cinnamon sugar to coat evenly.

- For extra flavor, add a touch of nutmeg or allspice to the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Make sure to cool the dough slightly before piping to prevent it from tearing.
