Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large flour tortillas or wraps
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or your favorite)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder (optional for a spicy kick)
- Fresh lettuce or spinach leaves
- Cherry tomatoes, sliced (optional for an extra freshness)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken with mayonnaise or Greek yogurt. Add minced garlic, paprika, chili powder if using, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated with flavorful seasonings.
- Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous layer of the chicken mixture onto each tortilla. Top with shredded cheese, fresh lettuce or spinach, and sliced cherry tomatoes if desired.
- Fold in the sides and roll tightly from the bottom to the top, ensuring all fillings stay in place. For a crispy finish, brush the wraps lightly with olive oil before toasting.
- Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down and cook for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes until crispy and the cheese melts.
Notes
- You can customize the fillings with your favorite vegetables or add hot sauce for extra spice.
- Using leftover cooked chicken makes these wraps even quicker to prepare.
- For healthier options, choose low-fat cheese and whole wheat tortillas.
